The Panorama Lofts are located south of the city centre, in Vienna’s 10th district, and are very easy to reach by public transport and by car.
Your arrival by Car
The Panorama Lofts can be reached quickly by car from the motorway. Take either the “Favoriten” exit or the “Wien Gürtel” exit, the Panorama Lofts are halfway between the two.
Navigate to adress „Absberggasse 29“. This is the entrance to the Ankerbrotfabrik site.
Please let us know if you are travelling by car. We have a limited number of parking spaces directly on the Ankerbrotfabrik site. Subject to availability, we will be happy to offer you a parking space for a small daily fee. You will then receive a remote control for opening the automatic car barrier together with the car park provided.
Outside the Ankerbrotfabrik site, the Vienna short-term parking regulation applies. It is possible to park your car on the street for a fee; parking tickets are available both in paper form and digitally via the “Handyparken” app.

Your arrival by Plane
If you are travelling by plane, we recommend taking the S7 express train directly from the airport to Geiselbergstraße station. From there, take tram line 11 to Schrankenberggasse station close to our building and reach the Panorama Lofts in less than 5 minutes on foot.
There is an equally fast connection with the “Railjet” train directly from the airport to the main railway station (“Wien Hauptbahnhof”) and from there onwards by underground or tram.
Alternatively, there is also a direct bus connection between the airport and the main railway station (“Wien Hauptbahnhof”). From the main railway station, you can take the underground or tram to Absberggasse 29.
Your arrival by Train or by Bus
If you arrive at Vienna Central Station (“Wien Hauptbahnhof”) by train or bus, it’s not far to your Panorama Loft.
There are several ways to get to us from the main station:
# Underground: directly at the main station you can easily get on the metro line U1 in the direction of “Oberlaa” and travel 2 stops to the “Reumannplatz” stop. There you can either take the tram – line 6 or line 11 – and travel 2 stops to “Schrankenberggasse” or you can walk the 11-minute walk from Reumannplatz directly to us.
# You can reach us without changing trains by taking tram line D outside the main station building at the “Hauptbahnhof Ost” stop and travelling 3 stops to the “Absberggasse” stop.
We recommend 3 main transport hubs to explore the city from the Panorama Lofts:
Schrankenberggasse station (1) is just a 4-minute walk away. It offers a quick connection to tram lines 6 and 11 as well as the night bus line N6 for all night owls who want to get home late at night by public transport. Both lines 6 and 11 take you to Reumannplatz in 2 stops, from where you can reach the city centre in just a few minutes by underground.
If you prefer to walk, you can reach Reumannplatz (2) in 12 minutes on foot instead of taking the tram. Reumannplatz is a lively, multicultural main square full of shops and restaurants and offers a number of connections to the public transport network, first and foremost the U1 underground, which takes you to Vienna city centre – Karlsplatz, Stephansplatz, Schwedenplatz – in just a few minutes. Other lines that run in all directions from Reumannplatz are Tram line 6, tram line 11, bus lines 7A, 65A, 66A, 68A and 68B, night bus lines N6, N65, N66, N68.
We are also directly connected to the bus lines 68A, 68B and the night bus line N68 via the “Absbergbrücke” station (3), which is 7 minutes away.
Tickets for the public transport network in Vienna are available from ticket vending machines or can also be purchased via the “WienMobil” app. If you intend to use public transport several times during your stay in Vienna, it may be advisable to buy a ticket for 2 or more days:
